2Application and Definitions
Labour law applies to employees, the definition of which excludes a client or client of any profession and applies to persons that receive remuneration and assist in conducting business of the employer.
3Provisions Regulating Types of Employment
The Labour Relations Act provides for the regulation of temporary employment services, fixed term contract and part time work and prescribes equal treatment, unless otherwise justified, for employees working in such categories after three months of employment.
4Provisions pertaining to foreign workers
There are three classes of residence permits which are issued and regulated by the Immigration Act. All residence permits are generally not issued for any period exceeding 5 years (including renewals) subject to certain condition.
