Direct corporate members: 300 companies

Associated members: 5,000 employers/associated members

Membership rates: Based on size, from 1,600 to 26,000 ZAR

Labour Law Services: Free legal & Technical advice by phone to NEF members; paid services including: training (multiple topics), complex industrial relations matters, legal templates, and occupational health and safety advice; Labour Law Committee (LLC) of Experts – enquiries free of charge for NEF members. Members can engage a member of the LLC to chair hearings etc, at a negotiated rate but for NEF members discounted below the open market rates. Publications (e.g. booklet summarizing labour law legislation); Advocacy

Background

Tim joined NEF in 2004 as Secretary General. Previously, he worked in the Namibian tourism industry and as a Master Mariner. Tim has served more than 12 years on the tripartite Labour Advisory Council, he was the first General Manager Operations for Namibia Wildlife Resorts and has  recently completed 6 years on the Board of the Namibia Training Authority.
